a pair of punching mitts. (do you say
punching mitt in English?)
先月、西野やすしさんがグローブをくれました
My friend Yasushi Nishino; a great blues guitarist
and also a Karate master, gave me a pair of gloves
on my birthday.
これで練習できます！
Now I can start training!
プロの選手やトレーナーを含むたくさんの友達が
やりたいなら喜んでパートナーになってあげたいと
言ってくれています。

なんてラッキーなんでしょう。
Many of my friends including pro fighters and
trainers tell me that they would gladly
be a partner if I would like to train.
